Bill No. 505-31 (COR): An act to establish the Administrative Rules and Regulations governing the Guam prescription drug monitoring program of the Department of Public Health and Social Services, under new Article 18 of Chapter 4, Division 1, Title 26, Guam Administrative Rules and Regulations, and in conformance with §67.301(a) of Article 3 [Regulation of Manufacture, Distribution and Dispensing of Controlled Substances], Chapter 67, Title 9, Guam Code Annotated.
Bill No. 499-31 (COR): An act to provide immediate financial relief to Guam Memorial Hospital Authority by mandating timely payments by health insurance plan administrators to Guam’s only civilian hospital, by adding a new §9902.1 to Article 9, Chapter 9 – [Health Care Prompt Payment Act of 2000], Title 10, Guam Code Annotated.

This past Saturday, Senator Rodriguez attended the Guam Cancer Care's Live Fight Survive Health Fair held at the Micronesia Mall. The health fair was held to give free cancer risk assessment and free vital screenings for glucose, BMI and blood pressure. The health fair will be followed by the second step in cancer pervention with a Cancer Screening Day this Saturday and Sunday.
"I commend the efforts of Guam Cancer Care and hope that people continue to take full advantage of these cancer screening opportunities. We would like to continue to spread awareness of cancer prevention and get Guam helathy," stated Senator Rodriguez.

Last night, Senator Rodriguez joined the community of St. Dominic's Senior Care Home to celebrate their 25th Anniversary. Senator Rodriguez presented Resolution No. 477-31 to recognize and commend the establishment on the occasion of their 25th Anniversary and extend a sincere Un Dangkolo Na Si Yu'os Ma'ase to the staff and management of the facility for their dedication and service to Guam's elderly community.
"St. Dominic's Senior Care Home has helped hundreds of our island's residents and provides invaluable services to our Manamko. I thank and congragulate them for all they do," stated Senator Rodriguez.
