Earlier this month, Senator Rodriguez participated in the 7th Annual Ambassador and Consuls General Tour of the Philippines. In addition to the tour, Senator Rodriguez visited with patients from Guam in St. Luke's Medical Center and The Medical City.  The senator also met with medical specialits and hospital administrators to begin communication for future collaborations and visits to Guam.

"Though it was under unfortunate circumstances, it was a pleasure to meet with patients from Guam who were in the Philippines receiving treatment.  I was able to listen to their concerns and bring them a little piece of home, as many of them have been there for extended periods of time.  The visit was a reminder of all the work that needs to be done to improve our local healthcare system and I stand committed to doing just that," stated Senator Rodriguez.
