This morning, November 12, 2015, the Guam Legislature through Sen. Rodriguez's office joined the American Cancer Society Guam Field Office in a 2016 RELAY FOR LIFE kick-off event.
Sen. Rodriguez, joined by 10 other Senators, presented the American Cancer Society with Resolution 232-33 (COR)- commending and congratulating them for the work they do in support of Guam's Cancer Survivors, caregivers and families.
Immediately after the presentation, Senators got purple-ized when cancer survivors painted on their shirts as a symbol of Painting Guam Purple, the official theme for Relay 2016!
Purple is the official color of Relay for Life and exudes the spirit of the survivor and support for all who live with cancer, bringing hope and love until a cure is found!
