This week the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released the latest statistics on life expectancy in the United States. Life expectancy for Americans has reached an all-time average high of about 79 years. However, the report also contained another sad and disturbing statistic -- suicide rates have increased to their highest level in 25 years.
